Already five years in the running since it first opened on January 12, 2014, this broadway presentation tells of of a talented teenage girl’s journey to becoming the most successful female musical artist in the third quarter of the 20th century. Carole King started out as a relatively unknown songwriter during the 60s, when the Beatles and post-Beatles rock bands were at the center of the music scene. She eventually established success in 1970, as singer-composer via her chart-busting album “Tapestry.”
